Tiffany Elmore Named Second Team All-Sun Belt Conference

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Sophomore Tiffany Elmore has been named to the All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team, the league office announced today. The North Vernon, Ind. native helped lead the Lady Toppers to the No. 3 seed in the SBC Tournament and a 24-8 overall record.
Elmore finished the regular season leading the Lady Toppers on offense with a .340 hitting percentage, the fourth best percentage in the Sun Belt Conference and the 73rd best in the country. In addition, Elmore racked up over 250 kills this season while also posting 80 blocks. She has recorded a .400 or better hitting percentage in 12 matches this season and a .300 or better percentage in 18 matches, including ten of her last 12. She tallied a season high 18 kills against IUPUI earlier in the season and has recorded double-digit kills in nine matches.
She has also been a force in conference matches finishing with a .360 hitting percentage and 40 blocks. During the conference season, she recorded a season-high 15 kills in a crucial match against New Orleans. She also recorded a .400 or better percentage in eight matches during the conference season while also posting more than one block 11 times and double-digit kills six times.
Elmore and the Lady Toppers will begin their run for their second consecutive Sun Belt Conference Championship on Thursday when they take on No. 6 seed Denver at 5 p.m. CDT.
