Bowling Green, Ky. - Six different football camps featuring in depth and hands on instruction from the WKU football staff begin next week on the school’s Bowling Green campus. The camps are structured by age and feature options for students ranging from those entering first grade to the 12th grade.
“Our staff and administration have tremendous pride in all of our football camps,” WKU Head Coach David Elson said. “We provide hands on instruction in teaching and emphasizing various fundamentals and techniques, and our goal is for all campers to improve their football skills while also learning more about the game. We have received excellent feedback from those who have participated in the past, and we are looking forward to a great week of camps again this year.”
Fans are encouraged to attend the 7 on 7 tournament on July 19, which will be held at the intramural complex. All other camps are at Houchens Field – L.T. Smith Stadium. Some camps offer both overnight and day camper options, and spots are still available for each camp (listed below).
