Bowling Green, Ky. — The summer camp season is quickly approaching and the WKU soccer staff is offering a variety of options through both the Lady Topper Soccer Academy and the Hilltopper Soccer Camps.
Day Camp (Boys & Girls 6-14) June 2-6
This camp is designed to introduce players to the wonderful game of soccer as well as develop the skills of younger athletes. The camp features outstanding small group instruction, games, and skills competitions in a fun and nurturing learning environment. Both half-day (9:00am – noon) and full-day (9:00am – 4:30 pm) options are available with lunch provided for full-day campers.
Team Camp (Girls 12-18) June 15-19 / (Boys 12-18) July 10-14
This camp is designed to prepare high school and club teams, and individual players for the upcoming season. Players will improve field awareness through a series of instructional sessions designed to develop skills, as well as a better understanding of the game. Each team will compete in a championship tournament, and independent campers will join an appropriate team based on age and ability.
Individual and Goalkeeper Camp (Girls 10-18) June 19-21 or July 10-12
This is a great camp for aspiring goalkeepers, and ALL field players, who want to improve their overall soccer techniques. Our low staff-to-player ratio of 5-to-1 will ensure that each player receives valuable personalized instruction. The focus will be on small-sided games and goalkeepers will experience advanced individual training to improve footwork, angles, shot-stopping ability, diving, distribution, and defensive organization.
Festival Cup (Girls 10-18) July 10
NEW! This full one-day camp (8:00 am until 5:00 pm) is designed as a fun-filled and action-packed competition camp. Teams consisting of a minimum of 5 players will compete in a series of different soccer tournaments. Attend with a team, or come as an individual player and let us place you on a team! This camp is a thrilling way to tune-up and head back into your soccer season. Best of all, it costs only $30!
