The over 100 individuals in the program will be divided into four teams that will be selling tickets door-to-door in numerous Bowling Green neighborhoods from 6-9 p.m. (CDT) on Monday and Tuesday next week. WKU football will visit the Briarwood, Cumberland Trace, Grider Pond and Indian Hills areas the first evening, and will be in Barrington Manor, Bent Tree, Hunters Crossing and Three Springs the second night.
Shuttles will be leaving from Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium at 5:30 p.m. each day.
Players and coaches from the winning team will be treated to a quality steak dinner during preseason camp.
WKU has already sold 5,200 season tickets for the 2007 season, surpassing the previous high of 1,800, with expectations that August will be the busiest month of the year in sales leading into the start of the year Labor Day weekend. The school is offering $25 general admission season tickets for the first time in an effort to increase average game attendance.
