The Hilltoppers and RedHawks will now attempt to salvage one game of the series as they will meet at 1 p.m. (CST) on Monday (Feb. 19) at Nick Denes Field.
The Hilltoppers are coming off an opening weekend that saw them win two of three games at the Hughes Bros. Challenge against teams that played in the 2006 NCAA Tournament. WKU picked up a 4-2 win over host UNC Wilmington in the opener, then closed out the weekend with an 11-5 win over Oklahoma. The only setback of the weekend came against South Carolina, who is ranked second in the nation this week by Collegiate Baseball.
