WKU will kick off against the Trojans at 4 p.m. (CST) at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium.
Brewer, a Bowling Green, Ky., native, and Mason, who hails from Nicholasville, Ky., have both contributed on the Hilltoppers’ special teams units, with the former racking up 15 tackles and the latter scoring a touchdown in the team’s home-opening victory over West Virginia Tech.
Hamilton — who is from West Paducah, Ky. — is coming off a performance in WKU’s win last week at Chattanooga in which he collected a career-best 210 all-purpose yards. That included catching five passes for 95 yards, as his 44-yard reception in the final period set up the game-tying touchdown.
A native of Madison, Tenn., this is the team-leading sixth time that Lewis has been voted a captain this season. The team leader with 77 total tackles and six stops behind the line of scrimmage, Lewis was credited with nine tackles to share game-high honors at UTC.
Rumph is expected to play this weekend for the first time since recording a pair of stops in the Toppers’ 20-17 win at Middle Tennessee on Sept. 20. The Bradenton, Fla., resident posted 17 tackles in the first four games prior to suffering an injury.
Stephens, who hails from Somerset, Ky., was credited with two tackles in the win over the Mocs last time out, bringing his season total to 19 in nine contests this fall. That’s one more stop than he collected in 19 appearances the last two years.
