Argabright also took the honor once during her freshman year, and twice as a sophomore.
The two-time All-American averaged 5.29 kills per game and hit .470 in a pair of home wins over Troy and South Alabama last weekend. Friday night against the Trojans, Argabright posted a match-high 22 kills — the fourth time this season she has finished with 20 or more kills — and hit .364. She followed that up with 15 kills, no attack errors and a match-best .682 hitting percentage in a three-game sweep over South Alabama in the final home match of the 2007 season. Argabright also finished with three service aces against USA, and averaged 1.00 blocks per game for the weekend.
The Lady Toppers (25-6, 14-2 Sun Belt) will close out the 2007 regular season Friday (Nov. 9) when they travel to Middle Tennessee for a 7 p.m. (CST) match. A win would give the Lady Toppers a share of the Sun Belt East Division championship for the eighth straight season, and would also give them the top seed in the upcoming Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
