The Hilltoppers (3-12-4 overall and 0-5-1 in conference action) scored the first goal on the evening in the fifth minute. Benard Airo took the ball down unassisted to tally his second goal of the season.
The Braves (12-5-3 / 4-0-2) tied the match in the 39th minute after Stephen Brust scored his second goal of the year. BU took the lead one minute later on a Joe Donoho goal and then Bradley put the game away in the 44th minute on a Chris Cutshaw score.
Drew DeGurian scored the final goal of the match in the 77th minute on a cross from Ken Hickman.
Bradley out shot WKU 21-15 for the match while Airo added four shots and Andy Masteller and Will Thompson took three each.
Cutshaw tallied six shots for the Braves and Donoho and DeGurian took three apiece.
“The Toppers worked hard all year and the team’s attitude was positive right to the end,” head coach David Holmes said. “I want to thank our four senior — Chris Davies, Travis Garner, Kevin Hitchel, and Kyle Schroeder for their dedication to the program. The credit goes to these four leaders for instilling a belief that our young team could win any game on the schedule.”
