In doubles, Erin Fulkerson and Whitney Robards lost 8-2 at No. 1 while Ieva Balcus and Ilze Rozentale dropped a decision, 8-2 at No. 2.
Christina Hall fell to Marina Engelbrecht 6-3, 6-2, at No. 1 singles. Robards lost to Paula Chelminska, 6-4, 6-0, at No. 4 and Laura Caffey dropped a 6-0, 6-2, decision at No. 6 singles.
Fulkerson and Rozentale each won their first set in singles action but the matches were stopped when the team contest was decided.
For the Hilltoppers in singles, Andy True lost 6-1, 6-2, at No. 4 to Dusan Tabak. David Bowman dropped a 6-0, 6-2, decision at No. 5 and Sam Patterson lost 6-3, 6-0, at No. 6.
In doubles, True and Patterson lost at No. 2, 8-0, and Franco Serra and Bowman lost 8-2 at No. 3.
