The Lady Toppers dominated the distances at the Murphy Center. The quartet of Janet Jesang (5:06.81), Emily Leeper (5:07.17), Nicole Jaggers (5:07.96), and Heather Colter (5:11.64), recorded seasonal-bests in the mile to claim second through fifth-place, respectively. Also, Natalie Leeper took home top honors in the 3,000 meters with a season-best time of 10:10.13, while Amanda Adams was third in the event at 10:36.24.
In the weight throw, Courtney Wood claimed first-place honors with a toss of 55-3, while Sarah Lambrecht was the runner-up, recording a career-best 49-6. Finishing third in the triple jump was Vallery Delaunay, who recorded a leap of 39-0.75.
For the men, Bethuel Kiplagat was the second-place finisher – and top among collegians – in the mile, crossing the line in a time of 4:21.92, which leads the Hilltoppers at the distance for the season. In the 3,000 meters, Cosmas Bor copped top collegiate honors (second overall), recording a time of 8:53.34.
In the throws, Brian Soverns finished third in the shot at 47-3.50, while Steve Moorman was thid in the weight at 49-9.
