Hilltopper Football Luncheon Set For Tuesday

Bowling Green, Ky. — Western Kentucky University head football coach David Elson and his staff will be at the Fresh Food Company in the Downing University Center Tuesday for the first Hilltopper Football Luncheon of the year. Tickets for the event — which begins at noon (CDT) — are $8, with free parking available in the new structure across the street from DUC.

Elson will recap the Toppers’ season-opening 63-3 victory over West Virginia Tech, and will also address next weekend’s rivalry game with Eastern Kentucky. Kickoff for the “Battle of the Bluegrass” is set for 6:30 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 10) at L.T. Smith Stadium/Jimmy Feix Field.
