The free event will run from 4-7 p.m. (CST) on the South Lawn across from the stadium.
Treats — as well as food — will be available at tents on the South Lawn, along with Topper Town, which offers rides and games for children prior to every WKU home game. There will also be crafts, face painting and a temporary tattoo tent at Harvest Fest in addition to a rock climbing wall, sack races, an obstacle course and many other activities for all children.
Western mascot Big Red will be at the event as well as Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Donations in the form of nonperishable food and toiletries will be accepted at Harvest Fest to benefit H.O.T.E.L. Inc. and the Bowling Green International Center.
The game with the Redbirds is slated to start at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance by visiting the WKU Athletic Ticket Office located inside the U.S. Bank Entrance of E.A. Diddle Arena, or by contacting the office at 270-745-5222 or 1-800-5-BIG-RED. Tickets can also be purchased on the day of the game at Smith Stadium.
