This race will be the precursor to the 2003 Sun Belt Championships, which will be hosted by WKU and held at Kereiakes Park on Saturday, Nov. 1.
Sun Belt schools Flordia International (women) and Middle Tennessee are scheduled to compete in this weekend's event, along with Cumerland (Tenn.), Eastern Kentucky (men), Kentucky, Murray State, Western and EKU Alumni (men).
The women's 6,000-meter race will begin at 10 a.m. (CDT) with the men's 5-mile set to follow at 11.
