BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The City of Bowling Green has created signs congratulating the Western Kentucky University National Football Champions. A news conference will be conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at the Hwy 231-Morgantown Road site at 9:30 a.m. (CST). The first sign will be installed at that time.
The signs will be placed at the following seven entry corridors of the City next to the Operation Pride signs:
1) Hwy 231 - Morgantown Road
2) Hwy 231 - Scottsville Road
3) 68/80 - Russellville Road
4) 31W North - Louisville Road
5) 31W South - Nashville Road
6) Cemetery Road
7) Hwy 185 - Richardsville Road
City of Bowling Green staff including Mayor Sandy Jones and members of the Board of Commission will be attending. Also, Western Kentucky University Athletic Director Dr. Wood Selig and University President Dr. Gary Ransdell will be attending.
All members of the media are encouraged to attend.
