BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Western Kentucky University's Cris Riviere was dismissed from the Hilltopper football team Monday following his role in Saturday's postgame incident at Western Illinois.
A 6-foot, 200-pound junior from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., he was credited with four tackles in eight games this fall.
The Hilltoppers (10-3) will visit No. 3 seed Georgia Southern (11-2) Saturday at 1:05 p.m. (CST) in the semifinals of the NCAA Division I-AA playoffs in Statesboro, Ga.
