Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky head soccer coach David Holmes announced on Tuesday that the Hilltoppers' exhibition match against IUPUI will be played Friday, August 25, at 5:30 p.m. (CDT) at Greenwood Crossing in Bowling Green, Ky.
Greenwood Crossing is located at the intersection of I-65 and Scottsville Rd. Admission is free, and the public is encouraged to bring their own chairs as the field is not equipped with bleachers. The match site was moved due to the continuing construction of the WKU Soccer Complex, located on Creason St by the WKU Softball Field.
The Hilltoppers open the regular season Sept. 1 at 9 p.m. (CDT) against Fresno St. in the Nike Goal Rush Classic at Fresno, Calif.
WKU's first regular season home match will be Sept. 8 against UC-Santa Barbara at 7 p.m. (CDT).
