Question:
"Coach, this year's team has been impressive so far with four straight convincing wins. Then, Eastern comes to town. If your team can pull off a win against the Colonels (and go to 5-0), how much do the NCAA 1-AA playoffs, or even a national championship enter your mind?" (question asked by James Brandenburg, Bowling Green, Ky.)
Coach Harbaugh:
"They don't, really. Right now we're in a grueling stretch of the schedule. We play Eastern this weekend, and then get a Tennessee Tech team that beat Eastern at their place for our Homecoming game. We have to go down the road to face Tennessee State -- who was undefeated last year -- and then face Eastern Illinois, which is probably the most improved team in the league. With that ahead of us, it's difficult to look beyond Eastern Kentucky."
Question:
"Does (your son) Jim want to coach after he retires from the NFL?" (question asked by Robert Cooley, Shelbyville, Ky.)
Coach Harbaugh:
"That's what he's talked about. My feeling is that he would be a tremendous addition to the coaching profession. I don't think he has a desire to coach on the professional level, but he would prefer to be at the collegiate level where he could impact lives moreso than he could in the NFL."
