The 2021-22 Hilltopper Basketball T-Shirt Design Contest is presented by Alumni Hall.
Submit your design now through January 31st at 5:00 p.m. for a chance to win some sweet prizes. All registrants will receive a Big Red Rewards card that includes 20% off at Alumni Hall.
The Winner Will Receive:
- Alumni Hall Gift Card
- 1 free shirt of their winning design
- Limited amount of shirt shirts sold at Alumni Hall
- Recognition at the March 5th men’s basketball game vs. Marshall
- Winning design given out at the March 5th men’s basketball game vs. Marshall
- Tickets to a future Hilltopper Basketball game of their choice
Guidelines:
- The contest is open to all Western Kentucky University fans. Fans may submit up to two designs within the submission period but only one design per person will be chosen as a finalist.
- Designs should be single-sided. Design size can be as small as across the chest, to as large as a full panel print (12×17).
- Designs must be a two-color imprint (e.i. red & white on a black shirt, white and black on a red shirt, or black and red on a white shirt)
- By submitting a design for consideration, you confirm that to the best of your knowledge, the design you are submitting is your own original work and that no other persons or parties can claim ownership.
- Logos from other schools are not allowed.
- Must follow Western Kentucky University branding guidelines. See guidelines HERE.
- Designs should be submitted electronically via email to WKUSports@wku.edu.Please send us your original design files labeled with your first and last name. Ai, Ps, EPS, and PDF’s with your design layers intact. Hard copies of hand-drawn art are also acceptable.
Judging and Voting:
A panel of judges will narrow the submissions to our four finalists and put them out on social media to vote by the Hilltopper community.
Semi-finalists will be selected based on the following criteria:
- How well the design/slogan reflects Hilltopper Basketball.
- Whether the design/slogan is eye-catching, powerful and unique.
- Whether the design/slogan is in keeping with the university’s code of conduct.
- Compliance with Western Kentucky University trademark licensing regulations.
