Hennssy Auriantal enters his fourth season as an assistant coach on the Hilltopper Basketball staff under head coach Rick Stansbury in 2021-22.
The Hilltoppers won at least 20 games in each of Auriantal's first three seasons with WKU – including victories over Wisconsin, Arkansas twice, West Virginia and Saint Mary's – and advanced to the Conference USA championship game in 2019 and 2021.

Auriantal brings both Division I playing and coaching experience to The Hill.

The Canada native previously worked as an assistant coach at Jackson State in Jackson, Miss., from 2013-15.Â

Auriantal played four seasons at guard at the University of Wisconsin from 1995-99, competing twice in the NCAA Tournament and once in the NIT. He graduated with a degree in kinesiology and was named to the Big Ten All-Academic Team in 1997 and 1999.

He also competed for the Canadian National Basketball Team the year after graduating from the Badgers program.

Auriantal and his wife, Nathalie, have three sons, Naevhen, Teylan and Khennix.
