The Music City Challenge is a two-day event that will feature both running and field events on both days. Student-athletes from 21 schools will compete in the challenge, and WKU will be joined by Conference USA opponents in Middle Tennessee and UAB.
WKU opened its season at the Commodore Challenge hosted by Vanderbilt in January. At that meet, the Hilltoppers earned a variety of top-10 results, led by a fifth-place finish by Demetrius Rolle in the men's 60m final.
Last time out, WKU was at the Indiana Invitational hosted by Indiana University. The Tops showed well at that event with Katie Isenbarger earning a victory in the women's high jump on a 1.81m mark. That performance led to her being named C-USA Women's Field Athlete of the Week. WKU also got a first-place result out of its men's 4x100 team, made up of Steven Simmons, Demetrius Rolle, Gabriel Dozier and Julian Klenner.
A recap of each day's events, along with final results, will be posted to WKUSports.com at the conclusion of each day.
