CINCINNATI, Ohio — With heavy rain falling in Cincinnati on Monday and more in the forecast, WKU Hilltopper Golf's third outing of the season at the Bearcat Invitational has been canceled.

Play was halted after just a few holes Monday, with the decision made shortly after to end the tournament.

Six golfers were representing WKU in team competition: Redshirt senior Billy Tom Sargent, senior Stuart Easton, redshirt junior Linus Lo, junior Tom Bevington, sophomore Crimson Callahan and redshirt freshman Dawson McDaniel.

The Hilltoppers return to action at Georgia State's Autotrader Collegiate Classic on Oct. 15-16 in Duluth, Ga.
