BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Baseball head coach John Pawlowski would like to invite alumni, friends, fans and their families to the 3rd Annual Golf Tournament at Crosswinds Golf Course on Saturday, Sept. 29. There will be prizes and great food at the event, with all proceeds benefiting the Hilltopper Baseball program.
Those looking to participate in the four-player scramble event can either sign up as an individual ($125 per person) or a team of four ($400 total). Acceptance will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis with the submittal of the entry fee as the confirmation.
Check in on the day of the event will begin at 7 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Each participant will play 18 holes of golf with a cart and receive a box lunch. Later in the evening, the Hilltopper Football team hosts rival Marshall at 6:30 p.m. at Houchens-Smith Stadium.
Folks can also support the event in a variety of ways: tournament sponsorship, food sponsorship, golf cart sponsorship, putting green sponsorship and hole sponsorships. To begin the weekend, Hilltopper Baseball will hold its 1st Annual Alumni Game on Friday, Sept. 28 at 5 p.m. at Nick Denes Field. Former players, coaches and support staff - as well as their families - are invited back to Bowling Green for the celebration. This is a special opportunity to share some laughs and memories, while reconnecting with old teammates.
