BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Head Coach Greg Collins and WKU Lady Topper Basketball are hosting five camps inside E.A. Diddle Arena this summer with registration currently open to the public.
Team Camp
When: June 14-16
Price: $175 per player or $625 per team
All teams will play six games inside Diddle Arena and will receive free t-shirts. Submit a $300 deposit by June 1 to guarantee your spot in the team camp and receive a free gift. For more information, see the above PDF link.
Scoring Clinic
When: June 18
Price: $50
This camp is designed for young players who wish to better prepare themselves for playing competitive high school basketball and/or college basketball. The scoring clinic includes shooting techniques, shooting fundamentals, scoring off the dribble and getting open without the ball. Ladies will be instructed by current Lady Topper coaches and players. T-shirts will also be provided for each camper. A 10 percent discount will be offered for 5 or more campers in a group. Skill Position Clinic
When: June 18
Price: $50
This position development clinic is specialized for guards and post players. Post players will receive instruction on establishing post position, individual moves and post defense. Guards will be instructed on moving without the ball, passing and perimeter defense. Campers will be instructed by current WKU coaches and players. T-shirts will be provided for each camper. A 10 percent discount will be offered for 5 or more campers in a group. Contact the basketball office for details; offer does not apply to online registration.
Lil' Topper Camp
When: June 19-22
Price: $80
This camp is designed to introduce the game of basketball to young players. Campers will learn the basic skills of what it takes to become a successful basketball player. Lil' Topper Camp is all about teaching the fundamentals of basketball. Techniques taught include ball handling and shooting, and the camp also stresses the importance of teamwork. T-shirts will be provided for each camper.
Individual Camp
When: June 19-22
Price: $175
This camp is intended to help improve and develop your overall skills for the game. It will teach participants the essential skills of what it takes to be a successful basketball player, such as ball handling, shooting and the importance of teamwork. All participants will receive help and feedback from current WKU staff and players. T-shirts and lunch will be provided for each camper.
