BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Hilltopper Golf head coach Chan Metts announced Friday the signing of Caleb O'Toole (Pinson, Ala.) to a national letter of intent in the 2018-19 signing class.
O'Toole comes to The Hill as a junior-college transfer from Central Alabama Community College in Alexander City, Ala. He'll have two years of eligibility remaining.
"Caleb is a hard worker and very competitive, which are two important characteristics that will allow him to make an immediate impact on our program," Metts said. "All of his hard work in the classroom and on the course have culminated in a great career at Central Alabama that we look forward to continuing here on 'The Hill.'"
O'Toole was a NJCAA All American Honorable Mention selection at Central Alabama CC, which is currently ranked eighth in the country in NJCAA by Golfstat.
He has three NJCAA victories, including a District 4 championship win, as well as four top-fives. He had a 14th-place finish at the NJCAA D1 National Championship and was the 18th-ranked NJCAA player as a freshman.
O'Toole has also excelled in the classroom as a NJCAA Academic All American.
