BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Lady Topper Golf head coach Adam Gary announced Thursday the signing of Sarah Arnold (St. Charles, Ill.) to a national letter of intent in the 2018-19 signing class.
"Sarah brings a lot of power and athleticism to the team," Gary said. "Her work ethic and passion for the game will be a major contribution. I'm excited to see her game develop here on The Hill."
Arnold finished sixth individually in the 2018 IHSA II state tournament as her St. Charles North High School team won the state title. She was named both all-state and all-conference, and was also voted Kane County Athlete of the Week during the season.
Some of her tournament victories include the HJGT at TPC Deere Run, MAJGT Girls Championship, MAJGT Golf Club of Illinois Classic and HJGT Chicago Junior Shootout.
Arnold carries a stroke average of 76.7 on the junior golf scoreboard.
